Terms & Conditions for EGATEC 2026

By submitting your registration, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer or via online payment. The full fee is due within 14 days of registration. For early bird registrations, payment must be received by the early bird deadline in order to qualify for the reduced rate.

Invoice

An invoice will be issued after completion of your registration and sent exclusively by email to the address you provided. No paper invoices will be sent by post.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: info@egatec.org. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted.

• Until 25 August 2026: Full refund minus an administration fee of EUR 100.
• Until 9 November 2026: 50% of the total fee will be charged.
• From 10 November 2026: 100% of the total fee will be charged (no refund).

Substitution

You may transfer your registration to another person for a processing fee of EUR 100. Substitutions are accepted until 9 November 2026. After this date, substitutions are treated as a cancellation and new registration.

Event Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation of the conference, any fees already paid will be refunded. However, any additional costs incurred by participants (e.g. for travel, accommodation, etc.) will not be reimbursed.

Insurance

Jurisdiction

Place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria.

Liability

The organizers of EGATEC 2026 and their partners shall not be held liable for any damages, loss, or injury incurred by participants or third parties during or in connection with the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance.
